Q- Where will the graduation ceremony take place?
A. The ceremony has been scheduled for June 2nd, 2024, information is to be announced.
Q- At what time is the Commencement Ceremony?
A. The ceremony will begin promptly at 11:30 AM. Graduates and guests must arrive no later than 10:30 AM.
Q- How many guests can I bring? If I need more guest tickets, how can I get them?
A. TWO (2) guest tickets will be provided to EACH graduate. The graduate does NOT require a ticket. If you require additional guest tickets, you may REQUEST them by emailing [email protected] and be put on a WAITLIST. Two weeks prior to graduation we will let you know if your request has been approved. The event will also be a live streamed on our YouTube channel so that family members and friends not in attendance can share in the joy of the celebration virtually.
Q- How do I know if I made an honors list? If so, when do I receive my cords?
A. The graduation team will compile a list with each graduates Cumulative GPA prior to the ceremony date. If you made an honors list, you would receive your cords the day of the ceremony at check-in. Not everyone receives one, please do not ask for one. You can check your Cumulative GPA on your transcript or via your student portal. Check the catalog for honors information.
Q- Where can I get my RN or FNP stole for the Ceremony?
A. Stoles are given to graduates at check-in the day of the ceremony. Graduates are responsible for showing proof of licensure in order to receive their stoles.

Q- Is the cap and gown a rental or mine to keep?
A. Your cap, gown and tassel are yours once purchased through our supplier, Herff Jones.
Q- Can I decorate my graduation cap?
A. Absolutely!
Q- Can I alter my graduation gown?
A. NO. Do NOT alter your gowns. Alterations should not be made to your gown. Minor exceptions such as length if gown drags are acceptable. Gowns should not be cut into dresses, altered in sleeves, or changed in any way.
