Meet our new Interim Associate Provost, Dr. Judith Kornberg
As a decades-long leader and visionary in higher education, our newly appointed Interim Associate Provost, Dr. Judith Kornberg, leads with passion and integrity to transform programs and institutions. Throughout her extensive career, Dr. Kornberg has held positions as the Dean for Continuing and Professional Studies at the Fashion Institute of Technology, Director of Sponsored Research and Development at Purchase College, Dean for Continuing and Professional Studies at John Jay College, and Associate Provost / Interim Dean for Graduate Studies at Berkeley College.
Dr. Kornberg is especially well-skilled in academic policy creation and is responsible for the establishment of many partnerships and collaborations with both educational and private entities, gaining valuable experience for students and faculty. Her deep understanding of the higher education industry and its policies allow her to build consensus, encourage participation, and inspire excellence across institutions for the betterment of the student body. She is gifted in harvesting synergies between departments and colleges and developing innovative educational opportunities for growth.
Dr. Kornberg holds a Doctorate in Political Science from the University of Connecticut and a Master’s in History from Northwestern University. She has also earned a Leading Change and Transformation Certificate from Harvard University, as well as a Chinese Language Certificate from Harvard University. She is excited to assume her new role of organizational leadership at Miami Regional University and will utilize her limitless energy and deep commitment to higher education to build upon our university’s efforts to provide the best opportunities for our students and community.Back To Blog
