At MRU, we are a Family. We want to take the time to recognize our dedicated faculty and all they do for our students.

Samantha F. Wallace is the Associate Dean of Library and Discoveries at MRU. She defines the best part of her job as “the opportunities I’m given each day to share my talents and skills with my staff, my colleagues and the students. It is an honor to be a part of the vision of MRU.”

Besides her rewarding work at MRU, she loves meeting new people and traveling. She describes shopping as being part of her DNA. “I enjoy Reading; it opens up the pathways of imagination and powers the brain to think. For the most part I simply enjoy life and sharing my journey with others.”

The following quotes inspire her both in her career and beyond.
As a person: “My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.” ~Maya Angelou

As a librarian: “Libraries store the energy that fuels the imagination. They open up windows to the world and inspire us to explore and achieve, and contribute to improving our quality of life. Libraries change lives for the better.”~Sidney Sheldon
